Deb Haddad
Day Program Director

My name is Deborah Kilheffer Haddad and I am from Lancaster Pennsylvania. I have lived in Albania and Hong Kong before I was married. I married Peter Haddad of Scottdale PA and we have 4 kids. Our kids have various disabilities so I say that I "birthed" my profession!

I earned my bachelor's degree from Eastern Mennonite University in Biology and my Masters of Divinity from Eastern Mennonite Seminary in 2006. I have been working in disability services for about 8 years now and I really enjoy all the friends I have gotten to work with and support. I was interested in working with Adagio House because of the good work being done for the underserved disabled population in Harrisonburg and the surrounding area. I want to see Adagio House as a place where families can find resources and community for a good future for everyone.

A couple fun facts about me. I have two emus at my house, He-mu and She-mu. They are big interesting birds and continue to startle everyone who comes to my house for the first time! I also love international foods and cook dishes for my family from cuisines around the world. I love hot sauce and spices too! I cartoon when I am inspired and paint in the winters.
