Sylvia Meyer
Executive Function Coach

Originally from Canton, Ohio, Sylvia came to the valley to attend EMU as a Psychology major and has made Harrisonburg home ever since. She holds a Master of Arts in Education and taught middle and high school ESL for ten years. She is currently teaching 8th grade English part time, while also supporting middle and high school aged clients as an Executive Function Coach. 

Sylvia is passionate about giving individuals support in understanding their unique brains so they can thrive instead of feeling overwhelmed or ashamed of their struggles. She wholeheartedly believes in Adagio House's mission of care for whole families! 

In her free time, Sylvia enjoys singing, playing piano, and spending time outdoors with her husband and two young children.
